ELIGIBILITY

Age & Gender : The applicant’s age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.07.2026 i.e., the applicant should have been born on or before 31.07.2009. No Upper Age Limit.

Education : The female applicant must have passed or must be appearing in 2026 in Class 12 examination in (10+2) system only. The candidate must pass (10+2) examination from any recognised Board / Council in regular class mode with Physics, Chemistry & Biology having 45% marks in aggregate and must passed in English. ‘Passed’ means passed in both theory and practical individually.

Nationality & Residential / Domicile Criteria : The applicant must be a citizen of India. The candidate must be domiciled in West Bengal for admission in any category of seat. Only those candidates will be treated as domicile of West Bengal who are either, a) Residing in West Bengal continuously at least for last 10 (ten) years as on 31.12.2025. OR b) Whose parent(s) is/are permanent resident(s) of West Bengal having permanent address within the State of West Bengal.

Registration : After successful completion of the final year examination, the students shall be eligible for registration with WBNC as a Registered Nurse.
